汉语‘‘把”字句的翻译

　　“把”字句是汉语中常见的句型。结构上，“把”字句用特殊介词“把”将宾 语引出，放在谓语动词之前而构成。一般说来，翻译公司的译者在翻译“把”字句时，将宾语放置到 谓语动词之后就能得到对应的译文。

　　例1:以前中国人以为自己住在大地的中心，把自己住的地方叫中国。
　　译文：A long time ago Chinese people thought they lived in the center of the world，and thus called the place where they lived “The Middle Kingdom”.
　　例2：只要我们坚持改革开放政策，就一定能把我国建设成为社会主义 强国。
　　译文：As long as we stick to the reform and opening-up policy, we shall surely be able to build China into a powerful socialist country.
　　例3:游客可以透过这些艳丽多彩的走廊窗户，把园内的佳境尽收眼底Q
　　译文：Tourists can have an excellent view of the garden through these colorful corridor windows.
　　例4:我们一定要坚定信心，把我国的经济发展活力和竞争力提高到新的 水平。
　　译文：We must have firm confidence so as to increase the vitality and competitiveness of China’s economy.
　　切分总结或判断部分，当长句以判断、总结性小句结尾，可将总结或判断部分切分开，分成一句或 两句来翻译。
　　例1:灾难深重的中华民族，一百年来，其优秀人物奋斗牺牲，前赴后继，探 索救国救民的真理，是可歌可泣的B
　　译文：For a hundred years，the finest sons and daughters of the disaster-ridden Chinese nation fought and sacrificed their lives, one stepping into the breach as another fell, in quest of the truth that would save the country and the people. This moved us to songs and tears.
　　分析:原文是中文中典型的“先陈述后总结”结构，此种结构一般均可在“总 结”处切分开来翻译。上述译文正是采取这种方式，把“可歌可泣”独立开来，起 到了强调突出的作用。

　　例2:与会者对这个问题的看法差别太大，以致发生了争吵，一时会场的气 氛紧张起来。
　　译文：The opinions of the attendants were far from unanimous about this issue so that some of them began to quarrel with each other. The atmosphere at the meeting became tense at the moment.
　　分析:对照原文，可知“争吵”是因为“看法差别太大”，而“一时会场的气氛 紧张起来”就是对“争吵”后局面的总结，因此，专业翻译公司的译者将总结部分单列开来，另译 为一句。
